Forbes magazine has published 18 June a list of 100 highest paid athletes in the world (June 2011-June 2012). In the first place was the Boxer Floyd Mayweather, Jr., who last year earned $ 85 million.
In second place is another Filipino Boxer Manny Pacquiao with $ 62 million.
Master golf course Tiger Woods, who headed the Forbes rating (c) 2001, dropped to third place is $59,4 mln. Basketball player LeBron James of the Miami Club is situated on the fourth line with incomes in the $ 53 million. The fifth was Swiss tennis player Roger Federer, third world, has earned $52,7 million.
Top ten highest paid athletes in the world also included players such as David Beckham ($ 46 million) and Cristiano Ronaldo ($42,5 million).
The list includes only two women-Russian Maria Sharapova and her colleague at the BNL d'Italia Chinese Li Na. Sharapova, according to Forbes magazine, earned $27,6 million per year and covers 26-th place. Income of female players only-$ 18.4 million (81).
