The organization founder is the rabbi professor Elimeleh Goldberg .The owner of a black belt on a karate, the professor of chair of pediatrics at the Detroit university Wayne State School University Medical - at which in 1983 illness has taken away its own child.
Rabbi G (as its pupils tenderly name) has created organizacia after 12 years has worked the director of summer New York camp for children sick of a cancer.
Its skills in martial arts, leadership qualities and tragical experience of the parent who has lost the child, have given it possibility to understand requirement of the families facing such serious disease.
Kids known people visit, with them conduct karate lessons that children felt stronger and more confident illnesses resisted. To young patients help to see itself not as victims of illness, and as direct participants of own healing. Lessons of a karate not only strengthen children physically, but also help to realize the possibilities, to concentrate on the internal forces by means of philosophy of martial arts.
During weekly employment which are spent as in groups, and individually, children learn to an extension, respiratory exercises, ways of a relaxation, and also directly technics of a karate.
